A Caffeine-Dependent Media Specialist 

I recently transitioned from a fourth grade classroom into the role of media specialist for a K-5 building. Now, I am constantly drinking Starbucks mochas, looking for my next "reading buzz," and trying to staying "wired" with the latest technologies.

Last fall, Anita Beaman from Illinois State University guided me through the process of building a workshop using a wikiThis coming October we will be expanding our presentation to feature additional tools librarians can use to mesh technology with literacy.
